It was in 1979 I painted my first bike tank. It's been a long and interesting journey since then, where I have worked with some of the best custom painters there are and were. Some have left this world, and I keep their work alive with the techniques I learned from them. I've been drawing and painting for over 40 years. For me, art is an unending journey of discovery and learning. To see where my art takes me is always exciting. Art is an unknown road waiting to be discovered as it is traveled. To only focus on the end result is to miss out on the best part, the road to that result. It can make all the difference in the success of your art! As a teenager, I attended Parson's School of Design in NYC. Please check out my Fine Art page which features some of my fine art paintings. I am currently working on a series of oil paintings that feature unsual automotive and motorcycle themes with a very different approach. My current rides are an '89 Sportster which has been raked and fitted with custom fabricated and custom painted sheetmetal and 2004 Crazy Horse Chopper (above). The sporty was painted in 1996 and I have been very hard on that paint as it is my road trip bike. The paint has over 40,000 hard road, rain soaked miles on it. No chips yet and it still shines like a mirror. The chopper is a hardtail gooseneck and each piece, even the frame, is covered with flames.

My bikes are the best testing ground I have to test the durability of my paint. From time to time I hear from customers with paintwork of mine that is over ten years old, they tell me, the paint still looks great.
